Join us on a great value weekend away to the heart of England
Day one - Worcester
Departing South Wales we head for the first destination of the weekend, the city of Worcester, a beautiful Cathedral and University City with a fascinating history, located in the heart of the West Midlands on the banks of the River Severn.
Just a stone’s throw away from the Cathedral are historic Friar Street and New Street where two of Worcester’s oldest and most historic pubs are located. The Cardinal’s Hat in Friar Street is the city’s oldest inn dating back to the fourteenth century, serving craft ales and the most delicious homemade pies and sharing boards.
Within the city centre you'll also find fantastic independent shops and boutiques sit alongside some of the country’s best-loved retailers. Worcester hosts stores full of one-off gifts, luxury fashion and jewellery, everyday necessities, antiques, and much more, making it the perfect destination for some retail therapy!
At the end of the afternoon we'll leave Worcester and make our way to Cheltenham town centre, where we'll check in at the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham for your overnight bed and breakfast stay. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town with plenty of places to go out for a meal and few drinks nearby.
Day Two - Cheltenham
After a leisurely breakfast we’ll arrange for you to drop your bags off at reception so you can head off and enjoy your day.
Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in Britain and one of the few English towns in which traditional and contemporary architecture complement each other. There’s plenty more shopping at the Promenade and the town centre too, and lots of excellent restaurants to grab a bite to eat before heading home
Departing at 3pm for a late evening return home.
