Llandudno, North Wales Coast & Snowdonia

Mon 23rd – Fri 27th September 2019

Join us for a five day holiday in North Wales to enjoy the best of the coast & countryside of this beautiful region.

Day One
Departing South Wales we take you to the North of our beautiful country and on to our base for the week, the Four Oaks hotel in Llandudno. Here you’ll be treated to four nights dinner and full Welsh breakfast along with nightly entertainment at this basic but friendly seafront hotel.

Llandudno is the jewel of the North Wales coast and your hotel is conveniently located at the foot of the town centre, this Victorian resort still charms it’s visitors. The Promenade, the pier, Great Orme tramway and the charming shops and eateries of Mostyn Street are just a few of the attractions on your doorstep.

Day Two – Snowdonia
South of Llandudno are the Snowdonia mountains. Today we take you through Betws Y Coed and the Llanberis mountain pass, giving you breathtaking views as we drive along the edge of Mount Snowdon (weather permitting!) before arriving at the county town of Gwynedd, Caernarfon. This beautiful walled town and port is dominated by the 13th century castle. Built by Edward I as a palace and fortress, it sits alongside the towns narrow streets and redeveloped waterfront.

Day Three – Anglesey
This morning we pop over the Menai Strait and on to the island of Anglesey, with our first port of call, Beaumaris. Dominated by Edwards I unfinished castle, this small town boasts majestic views over the Menai and back to the mainland. From here we head to the longest place name in the country, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, for a coffee stop before returning for the afternoon in Llandudno.

Day Four – Bodnant Gardens (Entry included)
Situated above the river Conwy is the setting for one of the most beautiful National Trust gardens – Bodnant. With spectacular views over the Snowdonia mountain range, the Grade 1 listed gardens are home to botanical collections all over the globe. Italian terraces, woodland walks and so much more make this a perfect place to visit during the summer months.  Returning to Llandudno for the afternoon.
