Christmas at Kew with Battersea Twixmas Break

Join us for an illuminating break away after Christmas as we take you to Kew Gardens for this year's spectacular light show.

Day One - Kew Gardens

Departing South Wales in the morning (all picks should take place between 8am and 11am) we stop off in Windsor for an early  afternoon break. With enough time to enjoy some lunch, or explore and get a taste of this the favourite home of the Royal family.

From here it's on to Kew Gardens. This years trail promises to be better than ever with brand new displays along with some of the annual favourites.

*Please note that there will be a short walk from the coach drop off point to the start of the Illuminated Trail at Kew.

Stroll through the sparkling Tunnel of Light twinkling with thousands of fairy lights, and be greeted by fiery sculptures aglow with flickering flames in the scented Fire Garden. And with plenty of street food vendors along the way you could enjoy some festive food and drinks under the stars.

At the end of your visit we'll take you to the Holiday Inn London Heathrow Bath Road hotel for your overnight stay with a buffet style evening meal included, as well as breakfast the following morning.

A note about your included evening meal: For convenience and value, your break includes a simple evening meal as part of your hotel stay. The hotel's evening meal is designed to cater for a larger group of people together at the same time, so you may find that the choices are more basic and limited. We recognise that it may not always meet the expectations of those that would prefer a superior dining experience from an extensive menu, and we recommend that you bear this in mind when booking this break. Most hotels have alternative options via a bar and or room service menu to purchase at your own expense, should the inclusive evening meal not meet your own personal preference

*Please be aware that  as we are planning a later arrival time at the hotel following your Christmas at Kew visit, your evening meal will be later than usual (approximately 8.30-9pm).*

Day Two - Battersea Power Station

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel we'll be checking out by 10:30am and heading into central London, taking you to  Battersea Power Station on the South Bank of the River Thames. With all the main shops under one roof, loads of places to eat and drink along with a fabulous festive feel as you step out onto the banks of the Thames. 

We'll be leaving by 4pm for a late evening return home.
