Isle of Wight Easter Weekend in Shanklin

Join us for the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend break to the beautiful Isle of Wight!

Day One

Departing South Wales we head to Portsmouth for our afternoon sailing over the Solent to Fishbourne on the Isle itself. From here it’s a short drive to the hotel for the weekend, the Ocean View Hotel in Shanklin.

Your three night stay includes evening meals and breakfast each morning. Just a stones throw away from the beach in one direction, and the town centre in the other, Shanklin has plenty to offer, including plenty of beach bars and restaurants that might make you venture out to sample the culinary delights one evening!

Day Two – Island tour

Today we take you around the South, West and North of the island. Taking in the channel views as we head to Alum Bay and the Needles, and also Yarmouth with its wooden pier.

Day Three - Free in Shanklin

Enjoy Easter Sunday at leisure in Shanklin; from it's long wide sandy beach, perfect for taking a seaside stroll, to the wooded ravine which is Shanklin Chine and the Old Village with its independent shops, restaurants and pubs, you won’t be short of something to do. Shanklin has all the charm of a proper seaside town and set against the dramatic sandstone cliffs, the beach is one of the most stunning walks to take on the Island.

Day Four 

After checking out from the hotel we'll make our way back to Fishbourne for our ferry crossing to Portsmouth, and from here continue home to Wales, arriving back in the early evening.
