Seine Rendez-Vous River Cruise with Monet's Garden & Paris

We are thrilled to introduce you to our Seine Rendez-vous River Cruise, working with Arosa River Cruises to offer you this very special all inclusive holiday in France, combining the best of coach travel and river cruising!

Day One
Departing in the morning (all pick ups will take place between 7am & 10am), we'll be stopping for a motorway services refreshment break on our journey before arriving for an early afternoon stop in Windsor. Here you'll have a couple of hours, enough time for a late lunch or a wander around this royal town.

From here we continue to the Ashford International Hotel & Spa for an overnight stay with evening meal included.

Day Two
After an early breakfast at the hotel we'll be leaving to make our way to Dover for our mid morning ferry crossing to France; from here its just over three hours to Paris where we take you to embark the A-Rosa Viva cruise vessel (A-Rosa Viva); once onboard you can settle into your cabin ready for an 7pm departure from the port to begin cruising down the River Seine towards Rouen.

Your cruise package is booked on an ALL INCLUSIVE basis with Comprehensive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets with live-cooking stations, embarkation refreshment and daily teatime snacks, plus high-quality drinks throughout the day: including tea, speciality coffees, water, soft drinks, beers, wines as well as a wide selection of sparkling wines, cocktails, and long drinks (also available outside dining hours). Excursion Options
We have included several coach excursion options (included in the price) for those who wish to have some time to enjoy and explore on shore. However, you are welcome to remain on board the vessel during the daytime if you prefer to do so!

Day Three - Cruising the Seine
Relax and enjoy your river cruise experience as you journey along the Seine, arriving and docking in the city of Rouen later in the afternoon.

Day Four - Rouen 
Today you will be reunited with your coach and driver, who will meet you at the port in Rouen to take you for an excursion into Rouen - Normandy’s vibrant, historic and cultural capital. Monet’s famous depictions of Rouen Cathedral have made this vast edifice many visitors’ favourite building in the city, but there are also many fine museums to explore, not to mention the Gros Horloge clock tower, France’s oldest inn La Couronne and the beautiful modern church dedicated to Joan of Arc. At the end of the afternoon the coach will drop you back to re-join the cruise, which will depart later in evening to make it's way to your next port of call, Vernon.

Day Five - Vernon & Monet's Garden
Arriving in Vernon in the early hours of the morning, once again the coach will be here later in the morning to take you out for today's excursion to the famous Monet's Garden at Giverny. The former home gardens of Claude Monet has been made famous by his painting of the water lilies, have been restored to Monet’s original designs. His gardens, stretching from his house down to the river, provided the inspiration for many of his famous paintings, including the now restored Japanese Bridge.

At the end of your visit we return to the cruise.

Day Six - Paris
We arrive back in Paris in the morning, for a final full day of our French holiday; the coach will meet you at St Denis to take you out for a guided city tour in the morning, with time and leisure in the city to enjoy for the rest of the afternoon, and rejoining the ship at the end of the afternoon for your final night onboard.

Day Seven - Home
Time to say goodbye to the ship and Paris; we disembark in the morning after breakfast, where the coach will collect you and bring you back to Calais for your afternoon ferry crossing to Dover, arriving back home in Wales very late in evening.
